TRAVELING BY TRAIN
You can reach Winterberg from various cities via Interregio service. For example, there are hourly connections from Hagen and at least every two hours from Kassel. The trip from Dortmund to Winterberg takes only 104 minutes, with six departures on weekdays and twelve on Saturdays and Sundays.
Especially from Dortmund Central Station, you can take the RE57 directly to Winterberg—no transfers and no stress. This way, you’ll avoid any traffic jams and arrive at your destination feeling relaxed. Plus, you won’t have to worry about finding a parking spot and can just sit back and enjoy the ride.

- From the west: A44 Dortmund-Kassel—take the Kreuz Werl exit, then follow the signs for the A46 toward Arnsberg > Meschede > Bestwig > Olsberg > Winterberg
